Former Mainz coach Sandro Schwarz linked with Hoffenheim job

Former Mainz coach Sandro Schwarz is being linked with the vacant job at Hoffenheim.
Sandro Schwarz has been identified as a candidate to take over the vacant position as Hoffenheim coach, according to Bild.

'Die Kraichgauer' recently parted company with head coach Alfred Schreuder after they were unable to agree on how to take the club forward.

Schwarz, who has been out of job since he was sacked as Mainz coach in November, told SWR on Sunday that he feels ready for a new challenge.

"I'm not going to send a letter of application, but the situation is clear: Of course I feel ready to take on a new task," he said.
