Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, Bayern München CEO:
"We are very happy. The team did really well. A big compliment to [Bayern coach] Hansi Flick, who has done a great job. It's an odd and curious title win, but we're totally satisfied."

Hansi Flick, Bayern München coach:
"Compliments to the team. What we have shown in the past months is sensational. I don't have any criticism today, you have to highlight the way the players have done this. The players are coaching team are an entity, and I really like that. We're good. This is Bayern München, the goals are always high. We have now reached our first big goal, the DFB-Pokal and the Champions League will be next."

Robert Lewandowski, Bayern München:
"Celebrating without fans is a bit strange. We miss the atmosphere and passion of the spectators. But we are happy that we are German champions. It was a long fight."

"In the second half, we should have scored one more goal, but luckily Werder didn't create much. We had to be really compact and control the game until the end."

Florian Kohfeldt, Werder Brmeen coach:
"I believe that, all things considered, we deserved a point. In the first half, it was a game with few chances.

"I'm satisfied with the performance, very satisfied with the implementation of the plan, but dissatisfied with the result."

Herbert Hainer, Bayern München president:
"This eighth championship in a row for FC Bayern is certainly very special. The circumstances caused by the corona crisis have thrown everything into confusion and confronted us with new, unpredictable challenges. We are proud and happy that FC Bayern have once again shown what we are capable of, even in these unusual times. We are adding another chapter to the story of the club. I congratulate the team, head coach Hansi Flick and his coaching staff from the bottom of my heart. It's my first German championship as president of FC Bayern, and it's an incredibly great feeling. And now we're going to Berlin [to face Leverkusen in the DFB-Pokal final].

Philipp Lahm, former Bayern captain:
"Congratulations on winning the eighth championship in a row! Over the past few weeks, you've shown why you deserve to be top of the league."

Lothar Matthäus, pundit and former Bayern player:
"Bayern deserve to be champions. They have played outstandingly, homogeneously and with enthusiasm. It all went just like Hansi Flick had imagined. If you can even speak of competitors, there was little to gain for them."

Joachim Löw, Germany coach:
"Congratulations to FC Bayern, especially to Hansi Flick, the entire coaching team and the players. It was not only the coronavirus pandemic that caused the Bavarians to take a few hurdles this season. For a long time, the situation at the top of the table was more open than people were used to in previous years. In the end, however, it was impressive to see how Bayern have once again asserted themselves. With their quality, mentality and the joy they have brought to the pitch, Bayern have become more and more dominant as the season has progressed. I'm especially happy for Hansi Flick: He made his mark on this team and impressively showed that he is a great asset to FC Bayern, both professionally and personally. Our national team players also benefit from this."

Christian Seifert, German Football League (DFL) CEO:
Congratulations to FC Bayern on winning the German championship. Particularly thanks to the their remarkable perofrmances in the second half of the season, the Munich team defended the title in a season which has been very special because it was temporarily suspended. My congratulations also go to the coaching staff around Hansi Flick and everone in charge at the club.
