Dortmund must 'question themselves' after Mainz loss, says Sebastian Kehl

"This wasn't enough at all," Dortmund boss Sebastian Kehl said after Wednesday's home defeat to Mainz.
Borussia Dortmund need to 'question themselves' after Wednesday's disappointing 0-2 loss at home against Mainz, says club boss Sebastian Kehl.

"This wasn't enough at all. We have to accept with the criticism we get. Everyone must question themselves today," Kehl, BVB head of the licensed player division, told Sky after the game.

He also dismissed speculation that Giovanni Reyna was left out of the squad because he was suspected of having coronavirus.

"That's a total hoax. 'Gio' was and is not under suspicion of being infected with coronavirus. One should deal with this topic in a sensitive way," Kehl said.

BVB coach Lucien Favre told Sky before the game that Reyna is suffering from flu-like symptoms, but that the 17-year-old was in training this morning and should train tomorrow as well.
