Bayern München coach Niko Kovac says he is confident that the German champions have enough quality in the middle of the park to cope with Arturo Vidal's transfer to FC Barcelona.
"Before Arturo's departure, we had 22 world-class players at Bayern. Now, we have 21. But when you get an offer from a Spanish club as a South American, it's normal to think about a move," Kovac told Bild and added:
"We decided that we would make it possible for him. But we still have a lot of quality in midfield after Arturo's departure, so there's no need to worry. With Javi Martinez, Sebastian Rudy, Renato Sanches, Leon Goretzka, James Rodriguez, Thiago and to some extent Thomas Müller, the centre is indeed still very well occupied."
Bayern München have signed Leon Goretzka on a free transfer from Schalke this summer while Renato Sanches has returned from a loan spell at Swansea.
