Marco Reus has been ruled out of Borussia Dortmund's last game of the season against Hoffenheim on Saturday.
The BVB captain is still working his way back to full fitness after recovering from a muscle injury that has kept him out since February.
Thomas Delaney, Manuel Akanji and Mahmoud Dahoud will definitely miss out as well while Marcel Schmelzer is a doubt.
"Delaney and Akanji will definitely not play and neither will Reus and Dahoud. We'll have to see with Marcel Schmelzer. He's carrying a knock," Dortmund coach Lucien Favre said at the pre-match press conference before adding on Reus:
"He has trained with the team for two weeks. Hopefully, he'll be fit for the start of the new season."
Reus has made 26 appearances for Dortmund this season with 12 goals and seven assists to his name.
