Borussia Dortmund have confirmed the signing of Thomas Meunier on a free transfer from Paris Saint-Germain.

The Belgian international, who leaves PSG when his contract expires at the end of June,
has put pen to paper on a deal until 2024 with 'Die Schwarzgelben'.

"Thomas Meunier is a player, who has proven his quality at the highest level, including in the Champions League and the national team over a long period of time, and his experience will do us a great deal of good," said BVB sporting director Michael Zorc in a statement.

"Borussia Dortmund play the kind of football I love to play: exciting, authentic and natural," said Thomas Meunier.

"BVB are known for their enthusiastic fans, and the atmosphere during the game with PSG at Signal Iduna Park honestly influenced my decision," he added, referring to PSG's away clash with Dortmund in the Champions League in February.

The right-back made a total of 128 appearances for PSG with 13 goals and 21 assists to his name.
