On the May 19, Niko Kovac celebrated his last game as Eintracht Frankfurt coach by defeating Bayern München 3-1 at the Olympiastadion in Berlin.

This Sunday, Eintracht Frankfurt and Bayern will meet again in the 2018 DFL-Supercup. However, this time Kovac is the coach of the Bavarian side while Adi Hütter is responsible for the Frankfurt side. For both coaches, it will be the first official match at their new clubs.

"I'm glad that I will se many friends again there, because I experienced two and a half really great years there together with my brother (Robert Kovac, Niko Kovac's assistant coach). We crowned them with the DfB-Pokal. The contact will always remain," Niko Kovac has told Bild about his return to the Commerzbank-Arena where the game on Sunday is played.

Bayern's squad hasn't changed much over the summer. Most prominently, Leon Goretzka has joined from Schalke, Serge Gnabry and Renato Sanches have returned from loan spells while Arturo Vidal has left the club to join FC Barcelona.

Frankfurt have lost a large part of last season's success side as Marius Wolf (Dortmund), Omar Mascarell (Schalke 04), Lukas Hradecky (Bayer Leverkusen) and Kevin-Prince Boateng (Sassuolo) have all left the Commerzbank-Arena. Evan N'Dicka (Auxerre), Lucas Torro (Real Madrid), Goncalo Paciencia (FC Porto), Frederik Rønnow (Brøndby IF), Nicolai Müller (Hamburger SV) and Chico Geraldes (Sporting CP, loan) are some of the new faces.

Predicted line-ups:
Eintracht Frankfurt (4-4-2): Wiedwald - da Costa, Abraham, Salcedo, Willems - N. Müller, Hasebe, Torro, Gacinovic - Jovic, Haller

Bayern München (4-2-3-1): Neuer - Kimmich, Boateng, Hummels, Alaba - Martinez, Thiago - Robben, Müller, Ribery - Lewandowski

Absentees:
Eintracht Frankfurt: Ante Rebic (rested), Frederik Rønnow (knee injury).

Bayern München: Corentin Tolisso (rested).

Where and when:
The match will be played on August 12, 20:30 (CEST) at the Commerzbank-Arena, Frankfurt.

Predicted result:
Kovac and Bayern will prove too strong for the new Frankfurt side and take a 2-0 win.
