Bayern München coach Niko Kovac has commented on the rumors linking Ante Rebic with the German champions while Jerome Boateng has talked to Manchester United manager José Mourinho on the phone. Here's today's Bundesliga gossip!
Bayern München centre-back Jerome Boateng has personally informed Manchester United manager José Mourinho that he will not join 'The Red Devils'. Apparently, a conversation with Bayern coach Niko Kovac played a role in his decision (Bild).

Meanwhile, Kovac has ruled out that Bayern München will sign Eintracht Frankfurt winger Ante Rebic. "Ante is a strong personality and a great player who has developed brilliantly in the last two years at Frankfurt and at the World Cup with Croatia. But if you look at our squad, you see that we have a very high density of quality in his positions. A signing of Ante Rebic would therefore not make any sense for us," he says (Bild).

Real Madrid are interested in Bayern München star Thiago. Apparently, the former FC Barcelona midfielder is the dream player of Real Madrid coach Julen Lopetegui (El Espanyol).

Borussia Mönchengladbach coach Dieter Hecking will be fighting to keep his job in the coming season. His contract runs out in 2019, and talks about a possible extension haven't taken place, he says (Bild).

Thorgan Hazard won't rule out that he could leave Borussia Mönchengladbach this summer. "I'm thinking that I will definitely not leave ethe club in the winter. If I move, it will be in the summer," he says (Bild).

VfB Stuttgart midfielder Orel Mangala is nearing a move to Hamburger SV on loan and is set to complete his medical today (Bild).

Hoffenheim boss Alexander Rosen won't rule out that Andrej Kramaric could leave the club before the transfer window closes. "We are in constant contact with Andrej. He is looking forward to coming back to us. You can see that as a sign. But to rule out anything definitely at TSG Hoffenheim would be unserious in my opinion," he says (Sport Bild).

SC Freiburg centre-back Caglar Söyüncü has caught the interest of Leicester City. He would cost around €25 million (Daily Mirror).
