Report: Bayern rejected offer from Manchester City to swap Coman for Sané

According to Sport Bild, Bayern München rejected an offer from Manchester City to include Kingsley Coman in a swap deal for Leroy Sané.
Manchester City wanted to sign Kingsley Coman as part of the deal that saw Leroy Sané move to Bayern München, Sport Bild reports.

But Bayern München sporting director Hasan Salihamidzic chose to hold on to the French winger and turned down the proposal from the Premier League side.

Ultimately, Sané ended up joining Bayern for a transfer fee of €49 million, which could rise to €60 million including bonuses, according to reports.

Coman, 24, initially joined Bayern on loan from Juventus in 2015 and later completed a permanent switch to Allianz Arena.

He has made 158 appearances for the German champions, racking up 32 goals and 35 assists, and is under contract until 2023.
