Hertha BSC full-back Marvin Plattenhardt has been linked with various English Premier League clubs over the summer.

However, Hertha coach Pal Dardai says he is confident that the German international will remain in Berlin.

"I have assumed that he would stay the whole time. He feels comfortable here, and we like working with him," Dardai told Kicker.

Kicker has previously reported that Everton, Huddersfield and Bournemouth want Plattenhardt while Bild has claimed that Leicester, Watford and Fulham have also shown interest for the 26-year-old. Hertha are said to demand at least €25 million for him.

The English transfer window slams shut tomorrow which means that the Premier League clubs will have to act quick to secure the signing of Plattenhardt.

Plattenhardt has made 121 appearances for the club with five goals and 18 assists to his name. He has appeared six times for the German national team.
