Dortmund have lined up potential replacements for Jadon Sancho, confirms Michael Zorc

Borussia Dortmund have identified a few players, who could replace Jadon Sancho.
Borussia Dortmund have lined up a few potential replacements for Jadon Sancho, reveals the club's sporting director, Michael Zorc.

According to reports, the Bundesliga side want €120 million for their in-demand winger, who has been linked with a move to Manchester United in particular.

Zorc has now confirmed that Dortmund will look to replace Sancho if he ends up departing Signal Iduna Park this summer.

"If Jadon were to leave, we would do something again in the offensive area. We have certainly set our sights on one or two players," he told Kicker without mentioning any names.

However, in light of the coronavirus pandemic, Dortmund would not immediately reinvest all the money that Sancho's sale would bring in.

"When you don't have a state or a multi-billionaire behind you, you should be a little more careful at the moment. If someone could tell me the end date of corona, that would give me planning security. But I don't have that," said Dortmund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke and added:

"If we were to sell Sancho, every player of interest to us would cost €5-10 million more than the week before. We have nothing to give away"
