Thiago has reportedly agreed personal terms with Liverpool

Thiago appears to be ready to join Liverpool from Bayern München if the two clubs can agree a transfer fee.
Thiago Alcantara has reached an agreement in principle with Liverpool ahead of a potential move from Bayern München, according to Bild.

The report claims that Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp has given the green light to bring the Spanish midfield maestro to Anfield Road.

However, the two clubs remain far apart in their valuation of the player, with Liverpool understood to be willing to pay €25 million while Bayern are holding out for a fee of €40 million for the 29-year-old.

A few weeks ago, Bayern München CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirmed that Thiago appears to be keen on leaving the club with one year left on his current deal after turning down a contract extension.
