Raffael has issued a come-and-get-me plea to Fortuna Düsseldorf after leaving Borussia Mönchengladbach at the end of his contract.
It appears there has been no contact between the parties yet, but the 35-year-old would be open to join Fortuna, even if it would mean playing in the 2. Bundesliga.
"I can very well imagine joining Fortuna. It's a great club with a lot of history and a great City," Raffael told Bild.
"Helping Fortuna get back to the top flight would be a nice task. I haven't made a decision about my future, but playing in the second division would be no problem," he added.
