RB Leipzig loanee Hannes Wolf hopeful of long-term Gladbach stay

RB Leipzig loanee Hannes Wolf is determined to stay at Gladbach in the long term.
Hannes Wolf has made it clear that he is hoping to stay at Borussia Mönchengladbach beyond his season-long loan spell from RB Leipzig.

The midfielder struggled to find playing time at RB Leipzig following his €12 million move from RB Salzburg last summer.

Now, Wolf is looking forward to a fresh start at Gladbach, who will be obliged to sign the 21-year-old permanently if he makes 15 competitive appearances, according to Kicker.

"I hope that I'll stay longer than this year," Wolf said in an interview with Kicker.

At Borussia-Park, Wolf could play a key role under Gladbach coach Marco Rose, whom he played under at RB Salzburg.

"Hannes is an important factor for us. Not only does he give us depth, he also makes us better up front," said Rose.
