German international Sebastian Rudy will leave Bayern München and join RB Leipzig, Südwestrundfunk (SWR), a regional public broadcasting corporation serving the southwest of Germany, understands.

According to the report, Sebastian Rudy has signed a contract with 'Die Roten Bullen'. The price is currently unknown, but a transfer fee of about €15 million has been mentioned.

"We keep our budget. A €30 million transfer is excluded," RB Leipzig sporting director and head coach Ralf Rangnick recently told MZ.

However, Sport Bild claims that a deal still hasn't been reached. According to the German newspaper, the two clubs are not even in negotiations yet.

At RB Leipzig, the 28-year-old could help filling the void in central midfield that Naby Keita left when he joined Liverpool earlier in the summer.

Rudy joined Bayern München from Hoffenheim in 2017 and has made 35 appearances for the club with one goal and five assists to his name. The midfielder has played 25 matches for the German national team, scoring one goal.
