RB Leipzig 0-3 Paris Saint-Germain: Post-match comments

Here are the post-match comments after RB Leipzig's 0-3 defeat to Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League.
Julian Nagelsmann, RB Leipzig coach:
"The ticket for the final for Paris is well deserved. In the first ten to 12 minutes we did well and had good situations. It was hard to come back into the game after the second goal because Paris have a lot of quality. It's hard to accept but football is like this. After the second goal, the belief of our players went down a little bit. That's normal. It's not that easy to think about the good season we've had in the Champions League but in one week it will be ok. We know that it was a good season for a young team and we will try to do it again next season and work hard" (BT Sport).

Markus Krösche, RB Leipzig sporting director:
"Paris were very good over 90 minutes and deservedly advanced to the final. They were very good football-wise, played with a lot of flexibility and took advantage of their chances. In the end, we didn't really make our mark on the game and were rarely in control. We can still be satisfied and very proud. We made it to the semi-finals of the Champions League. We will take a lot from this defeat" (RB Leipzig, Twitter).

Yussuf Poulsen, RB Leipzig captain:
"We talked about what we could've done better, but we just wanted to savour being here. We are proud of what we've achieved all season long and we know what we have to do better" (UEFA.com).

Peter Gulacsi, RB Leipzig:
"There wasn't much for us today. We wanted to bring a top performance just like against Atlético Madrid, but we weren't able to do so" (RB Leipzig, Twitter).

Thomas Tuchel, Paris Saint-Germain coach:
"I was never relaxed, but how we defended was also the most important thing for me. We had a good mix between determination, spirit and quality. We stayed faithful to our style of play. When possible, we looked to control the half-spaces and control their counterattacks. And we used the acceleration of Ángel [Di María], Kylian [Mbappé] and Neymar with the ball between the lines. We didn't make big tactical changes. Yes, we adapt to all our opponents, but not too much. We have to show our strength, and the players again showed their hunger to win, work together and suffer" (UEFA.com).

Angel Di Maria, Paris Saint-Germain:
"We ate them up from minute one – it's going to be tough to sleep between now and the final! We worked hard all game and we showed we deserve to be here. It doesn't matter who we face: either Bayern or Lyon, we'll give our all. We're very happy. It's a first for the club. We worked hard and played a great game. We want to make history for the club. We succeeded tonight and we're in the final – that's very important. We have to continue like tonight to make our dream come true" (UEFA.com).
