Bayern to sign a replacement for Thiago and a back-up for Benjamin Pavard?

Marcelo Brozovic is being touted as a possible replacement for Thiago Alcantara at Bayern München. Meanwhile, Sergino Dest or Max Aarons could come in as a back-up for Benjamin Pavard.
Bayern München have held initial talks with Inter about the possibility of signing Marcelo Brozovic, but nothing is concrete yet, according to Sport1.

Thiago Alcantara and Javi Martinez have both asked to leave Bayern this summer, and the 27-year-old could come in to fill the gap the Spanish duo would leave in defensive midfield.

FC Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge recently said he had no comment when asked about the Croatian international by Italian media outlet Tuttosport.

In a different interview with Welt am Sonntag, the Bayern chief confirmed that head coach Hansi Flick would like to sign a right-back.

"That's the coach's wish. He wants a back-up for Benjamin Pavard," Rummenigge stated.

According to Sky, Bayern are showing interest in Sergino Dest (Ajax) and Max Aarons (Norwich City), who are both understood to be keen on joining the German champions.

Additionally, Bayern would reportedly like to sign Ivan Perisic on a permanent deal from Inter.
