Report: Frankfurt turn down €20 million offer from England for Martin Hinteregger

Eintracht Frankfurt are understood to have rejected an €20 million bid for Martin Hinteregger.
Eintracht Frankfurt have turned down a €20 million offer for Martin Hintergger from an unnamed English club, according to the Frankfurter Rundschau.

Frankfurt coach Adi Hütter is determined to hold on to the centre-back, who is said to be keen to stay himself, having signed a contract with 'Die Adler' until 2024 last summer.

The club in question aren't Southampton, although 'The Saints' have previously been linked with the centre-back, as per the report.

After Hinteregger spent six months on loan at Frankfurt, the club paid €9 million to sign him on a permanent deal from Augsburg in the summer of 2019.
