Bayern München have entered talks with Inter about the possibility of signing Ivan Perisic on a permanent deal, according to Bild.

FC Bayern CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, who played for Inter in the 1980s, is reportedly personally carrying out the talks with his former club.

Perisic, 31, spent last season on loan at Bayern, making 35 appearances with eight goals and 10 assists to his name, and could now join the German champions permanently, provided an agreement can be found.

Bayern let the €20 million buyout clause in Perisic's loan deal expire in May and are now hoping to push down the price for the winger. Another sticking point is Perisic's current wages of €11 million per season.
