Bayer Leverkusen have announced the departure of Kevin Volland, who has left the Bundesliga club to join AS Monaco.
The French Ligue 1 outfit will pay a reported €15 million including bonuses to sign the 28-year-old on a four-year deal.
"Kevin Volland has shown great identification with Bayer 04 in the past years. He has always shown exemplary willingness and commitment for the team and the club," said Leverkusen sporting director Simon Rolfes.
Volland, who has one year left on his contract with Leverkusen, spent four seasons at BayArena, making 148 appearances with 50 goals and 32 assists to his name.
