Report: FC Köln table bid for Marco Richter

FC Köln are understood to have made an offer for Augsburg's Marco Richter.
1. FC Köln are showing interest in FC Augsburg's Marco Richter, according to a report from Bild.

It is claimed that 'The Billy Goats' have submitted an offer for the winger, who is also capable of playing as a second striker.

The 22-year-old has three years left on his contract with Augsburg, for whom he has scored 10 goals and made 10 assists in 73 games.

Richter is the latest attacking player to be touted for a move to FC Köln, who have also been linked with the likes of Robin Hack (Nürnberg), Ajdin Hrustic (Groningen) and Dimitrios Limnios (PAOK Thessaloniki).

FC Köln boss Horst Heldt has confirmed that the club have agreed a deal to sign Limnios, a 22-year-old Greek winger, but the transfer has been postponed due to a positive COVID-19 test result.

Last week, Köln came close to signing Paderborn striker Streli Mamba, but the deal collapsed because the 26-year-old failed his medical.
