VfL Wolfsburg haven't seen 20-year-old Kaylen Hinds for more than three weeks. Now, 'Die Wölfe' have given the former Arsenal player a fine, Bild understands.
Allegedly, Hinds lost his passport during a visit to England at the end of July, and the 20-year-old wasn't able to get his documents replaced until yesterday - 23 days after leaving.
According to Bild, Wolfsburg sent him a written warning as well as a five-digit fine during this week.
"The situation is not sustainable. We will not accept it so we have sanctioned him," Wolfsburg sporting director Jörg Schmadtke told Bild.
Hinds has been limited to just two appearances for Wolfsburg so far and spent second half of last season on loan at 2. Bundesliga side Greuter Fürth without playing a single match for the club.
His contract with Wolfsburg runs until 2020.
