Hoffenheim star Andrej Kramaric has signed a new contract with Hoffenheim that will keep him at the club until 2022, 'Die Kraichgauer' have confirmed.

"This club has developed incredibly in the two and a half years that I've been here. Everything fits together here, and I feel very happy. I am highly appreciated from all sides and I really want to work on pushing this development further", Kramaric told achtzehn99.de after signing his new contract.

The Croatian international has been linked with a move away from Hoffenheim over the summer, but has now shut the door to the exit rumors - a decision that pleases Hoffenheim director of football Alexander Rosen.

"To be able to keep a player of his calibre at TSG shows how greatly TSG's stock has risen. Such decisions are the basis upon which the club can be developed further, because they allow conclusions to be drawn about the potential that has been developed here in recent years," Rosen told achtzehn99.de.

Kramaric helped his team to a third place finish last year, netting 13 goals and assisting another eight. During the summer, he was part of the Croatia team that finished second at the World Cup.
