Report: Schalke seek Bundesliga loan destination for Kutucu

Sky Sports suggests that Germany's "Knappen" may be nearing a intra-league loan for one their most prized prospects.
Having already shored up their attack with the likes of Vedad Ibisevic and, most recently, Goncalo Paciencia, Football broadcaster “Sky” reports that FC Schalke are considering a short-term loan destination for their homegrown prospect Ahmed Kutucu.

The report indicates that the Köngisblauen prefer to loan Kutucu out to a club within the Bundesliga and even hints that a deal with a specific team may be near. There being no shortage of Bundesliga squads needing attacking assistance at the moment, it’s anyone’s guess as to which organization this might be.

Transfermarkt.de currently lists 1. FC Union Berlin as the top candidate, though the recent transfer of lead striker Sebastian Andersson to 1. FC Köln may be overheating this speculation.

Kutucu tallied three times in 25 appearances for his hometown club last year.
