Official: Ondrej Duda joins FC Köln

Ondrej Duda has completed his move to FC Köln from Hertha BSC, signing a four-year deal with 'The Billy Goats'.


On Tuesday, it was announced that Jhon Cordoba has joined Hertha from FC Köln, and Duda has now moved in the opposite direction.

"Ondrej is a typical number 10. He has already proven in the the Bundesliga that he can not only provide goals, but also score them himself. He is a strong runner, can turn up the pace of the game and has a great overview of the game. Along with that, he is excellent from dead ball situations," said FC Köln managing director Horst Heldt.

"I'm really happy to be here. 1. FC Köln is a club, with its fans which I know from my time in the Bundesliga. It is an exciting opportunity for me. I will give everything for FC," said Duda.

FC Köln have paid a reported €7 million to sign Duda, who spent the second half of last season on loan at Norwich City. The 25-year-old made a total of 71 appearances for Hertha, racking up 13 goals and nine assists.
