Leroy Sané was happy with his debut performance, but said he doesn't feel at 100 percent yet.
Leroy Sané was delighted to make his Bayern München debut in Friday's 8-0 victory over Schalke 04, which saw him score and make two assists, but insists he isn't at full speed yet after recovering from a knee injury that kept him out of the majority of last season.
"I'm very happy. It felt very good to finally stand in the Allianz Arena with the boys. It was a very good day for us, we scored many goals and took advantage of our chances," said Sané, who has joined Bayern München from Manchester City over the summer.
"I have played with many of the guys in the national team already, we know each other, and I get along with the others I didn't know yet. I feel completely comfortable and knew that it would work out for me at FC Bayern. We were all hungry and looking forward to the start of the new season," added the German international.
"Of course I want to give all I have, but I'm not at 100 percent yet. I always want to add something and help the team to win games."
