Dortmund bosses Favre and Zorc play down comparisons to Bayern after Gladbach win

Bayern München are currently the best team in the world, according to BVB bosses Lucien Favre and Michael Zorc.
Borussia Dortmund bosses Lucien Favre and Michael Zorc dismissed comparisons to Bayern München after Saturday's 3-0 win over Borussia Mönchengladbach.

Asked if it was important for Dortmund to start off the season in convincing fashion just like Bayern did when they thrashed Schalke 04 8-0 on Friday, Favre told reporters:

"Talking about Bayern is no use. They are the best team in the world. They have so much quality everywhere. If you don't see that, you have a problem."

In an interview with ZDF on Saturday evening, Zorc admitted that Bayern are clear favorites to win the Bundesliga title.

"They are probably the best team in the world right now, you just have to say that. They are the absolute top favorite for the title," Zorc told ZDF.

"Bayern set en example for everyone else" with their 8-0 victory over Schalke, added the BVB boss.

"But they will not be able to win every match that easily," he underlined.
