Corentin Tolisso has admitted he was questioning his future at Bayern München back in January.

Sitting behind Joshua Kimmich, Leon Goretzka and Thiago Alcantara in the pecking order at the time, the French midfielder considered seeking more playing time elsewhere ahead of Euro 2020, which has since been postponed until 2021 due to the coronavirus outbreak.

"It's true that we were asking questions, especially in January when I hardly played at all. It was the transfer period, the Euro was supposed to be played in June, a lot of questions were in my head," Tolisso said in an interview with Canal Plus.

"Afterwards, as I said, it was difficult at the beginning, I had this injury and after this injury, I had a discussion with the coach. As for the transfer period in June, July, August, September, I was not wondering, I knew I wanted to stay at this wonderful club," he added.

Tolisso, 26, came on in the second half as Bayern München began their Bundesliga campaign with a 8-0 victory over Schalke 04 last week.
