Leroy Sané ruled out until after the international break

Leroy Sané has sustained a knee injury and will miss Bayern München's next few games.
Leroy Sané will not be available for Bayern München's Super Cup clash with Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday due to a knee injury.

At the earliest, the winger will be back for Bayern's Bundesliga encounter with Arminia Bielefeld on October 17 after next month's international break.

"Leroy Sané will miss the game due to a capsular injury in his right knee that will keep him out until after the international break," Flick told reporters at the pre-match press conference.

The Bayern coach also said that Alaba is a doubt for Wednesday's game due to muscular problems.

Sané missed the whole of last season because of a cruciate ligament rupture. He has made three appearances for Bayern after his summer move from Manchester City, racking up a goal and two assists.
