Werder Bremen are poised to sign Marko Grujic on loan from Liverpool, according to Bild and Sky Germany.

The 24-year-old central midfielder should come in as a replacement for Davy Klaassen, who is expected to leave for Ajax.

Grujic has made two appearances in the EFL Cup for Liverpool this season, but hasn't made the squad for any of their four Premier League games.

He has spent the last two seasons on loan at Hertha BSC, making 54 appearances with nine goals and three assists to his name.
