Marko Grujic's transfer to Werder Bremen is off, according to reports from Germany.
Earlier on Monday, several media outlets reported that Werder Bremen were close to sealing a deal to sign Marko Grujic on loan from Liverpool.
But the deal has now collapsed, according to Sport1 and Bild, who claim that the clubs ultimately weren't able to reach an agreement.
Grujic, who spent last season on loan at Hertha, was expected to come in to replace Davy Klaassen, who has left Werder to join Ajax.
