The German media outlet claims 'it's very possible' that RB Leipzig will bring the young central midfielder to Germany during the winter transfer window.
"We always deal with young, talented players," RB Leipzig sporting director Markus Krösche responded when asked about Szoboszlai.
Transfermarkt.de estimates the Hungarian international's current market value at €25 million.
The 19-year-old, whose contract with RB Salzburg expires in 2022, has played a total of 67 games for RB Salzburg, racking up 20 goals and 27 assists.
During the summer transfer window, which closed on Monday, RB Leipzig signed Alexander Sørloth (Crystal Palace, €20m), Hee-chan Hwang (RB Salzburg, €9m), Josep Martinez (Las Palmas, €2.5m), Justin Kluivert (Roma, loan, €1m), Lazar Samardzic (Hertha BSC, €500,000) and Benjamin Henrichs (Monaco, loan).
Additionally, the club recently announced that 18-year-old centre-back Josko Gvardiol will be coming to Red Bull Arena from Dinamo Zagreb next summer.
