Former Mainz and Dortmund trainer Thomas Tuches suffered another injury set-back as his current team prepared to travel to Germany on Tuesday. Already missing attackers Manuel Icardi and Neymar Jr., the club confirmed that French phenom Kylian Mbappé will not be making the trip.
The 21-year-old was subbed off early in his side's 3-0 win over Nantes over the weekend. At the time an injury was denied. Club and player insisted it was merely a matter of fatigue even though cameras caught Mbappé favoring his thigh.
No additional details were provided on Tuesday. PSG will also be without German national team alternate captain Julian Draxler, who has a confirmed thigh injury.
