Angelino expects to stay at RB Leipzig in the long term

Angelino is confident his an appearance-based obligation to buy will be triggered sometime this season.
After spending the second half of last season at RB Leipzig, Angelino re-joined 'Die Roten Bullen' on loan from Manchester City ahead of this season.

The season-long loan includes an appearance-based obligation to buy, which the 23-year-old expects will be activated.

Asked when the purchase obligation will take effect, Angelino told Kicker:

"I really don't know exactly, but there are still some games to come. If everything goes normally, it will happen. In any case, I hope that I will be on the pitch for RB for a long time."

The Spanish left-back has been in excellent form this season, scoring five goals in 11 games so far.
