Gladbach coach Marco Rose confirms Alassane Plea has tested positive for coronavirus

Alassane Pléa has tested positive for coronavirus, Gladbach coach Marco Rose revealed ahead of Saturday's encounter with Augsburg.
Borussia Mönchengladbach will have to manage without Alassane Plea for the time being after the French striker tested positive for COVID-19.

Speaking at the pre-match press conference ahead of Saturday's Bundesliga clash with Augsburg, Gladbach coach Marco Rose revealed that the French striker is in self-isolation after returning a positive test.

"Alassane Plea won't be involved on Saturday because he tested positive for Covid-19. With the quality he has, he will obviously be a big loss for us," said Rose.

Plea has scored four goals and made four assists in nine games for Gladbach in all tournaments this season.
