Crisis-hit Schalke 04 are set to part company with technical director Michael Reschke, according to Sport1.
The main reason for Reschke's impending departure is his bad relationship with the club's head of sport, Jochen Schneider, which is understood to be irreparable.
Sport1 claims the last straw was in October when Reschke was in talks with Hertha BSC about a potential sale of Schalke captain Omar Mascarell without informing neither Schneider nor the player and his agent about the ongoing negotiations. Schneider subsequently apologized to Mascarell for Reschke's actions.
According to the report, Schneider doesn't have to fear for his job himself, and neither does Manuel Baum, who is yet to win a Bundesliga game since he replaced David Wagner as head coach at the end of September.
Schalke 04 without a win in their last 24 Bundesliga games and are rock bottom of the Bundesliga with just three points after eight games.
