An arrangement stemming from an unknown source evidently will allow FC Midtjylland to host Liverpool FC in Herning on December 9th. This has been confirmed by multiple German media sources.
Reports yesterday confirmed that the fixture was to be moved to Dortmund's Signal Iduna Park. Some coverage on the event even noted that the relocation even came the request of former BVB trainer Jürgen Klopp.
In any event, authorities in both Denmark and the U.K.--which both operate under quarantine protocols for incoming travelers--have opted to make an exception for all players and staff associated with the match.
How precisely the reversal came about remains unclear. U.K. transport minister Grant Schapps announced the lifting of some of his country's outright restrictions on incoming persons, but 14-day-quarantines apparently for all travelers enter the country apparently still apply.
