Schalke 04 boss Jochen Schneider insists he will not be throwing in the towel.
Schalke 04 head of sport Jochen Schneider underlines he has no intention of resigning despite the club's struggles.
Speaking after Saturday's 4-1 loss against Borussia Mönchengladbach, which marked Schalke's 25th Bundesliga game without a win, Schneider told ZDF:
"In a situation like this, you don't jump ship. You face the task and try to get out of the situation as a team.
"Regardless of whether things get tight for me or not, it's all about Schalke 04. It's all about keeping Schalke in the Bundesliga. My future is not important in this respect."
Schalke are rock bottom of the Bundesliga with three points after nine games.
