Marcus Thuram 'concentrating 100 percent' on Gladbach amid speculation over his future

Marcus Thuram has committed himself to Borussia Möncengladbach amid speculation over his future at the club.
Marcus Thuram's performances in a Gladbach shirt have seen him linked with some of Europe's biggest clubs, but the 23-year-old insists he's not considering a move away from Borussia-Park.

The 23-year-old French forward, who was signed from Guingamp for €9 million in the summer of 2019, told Kicker:

"Coming to Borussia was the best decision for my career. I knew that they trust young players. Marco Rose also plays an important role as coach here. He makes players better.

"I'm currently concentrating fully, 100 percent, on Borussia and am very happy to be here. I haven't spoken to any other club. Borussia have made it possible for me to take many steps forward in my career, I play in the Champions League and have made the leap to the national team. I have grown and developed further in Gladbach, and not only as a player, but also as a person.

"You know how it is with rumors in football. Sometimes they're true, sometimes not. I've only read or heard a little bit in the media. Personally, I don't know anything, and – as I said – I haven't spoken to any club."

Thuram has racked up four goals and six assists in 14 games for Gladbach in all competitions this season.
