Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz backs Moussa Diaby for France call-up

Moussa Diaby will make his way into the French national team if he continues his development, says Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz.
Bayer Leverkusen coach Peter Bosz believes it's only matter of time before Moussa Diaby will receive his first call-up for France if he keeps up the good work.

Speaking after Thursday's 3-2 victory over OGC Nice in the Europa League, which saw Diaby score the opener, Bosz heaped praise on the 21-year-old winger.

"Moussa is very important for us. We are very happy with him. He's making good progress. His goal today was very good and important," said Bosz.

"If he continues like this, he could soon earn a call-up for the senior national team."

Leverkusen put €15 million on the table to sign the French under-21 international from Paris Saint-Germain in the summer of 2019.

Since then, he has gone on to score 11 goals and make 12 assists in 54 appearances for 'Die Werkself'.
