Agent discusses Erling Haaland's future amid Real Madrid links

Rumors that Real Madrid want Erling Haaland are 'not new' to the Dortmund forward's agent, Mino Raiola.
Erling Haaland's agent, Mino Raiola, has commented on the Borussia Dortmund striker's future amid reports linking the 20-year-old with Real Madrid among others.

Raiola refused to comment on speculation that Haaland's contract includes a release, but admitted Real Madrid's reported interest in his client is 'not new' to him.

"I can't talk about Haaland's release clause. Rumors say Real Madrid want him. This is not new to me, but he is very happy with Borussia Dortmund. Erling wants to win the Champions League. When he leaves the club, it will be for his ambition and not money," Raiola told Tuttosport (via Fabrizio Romano).

In the interview, Raiola also hailed Haaland for his mentality, comparing him to a young Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

"Erling Haaland is like a painting, he is like [Edvard] Munch's 'The Scream' because he causes fear in the defenders. He called me after being substituted at 85 [minutes]. He had scored four goals, he wanted to score another. He was furious! He wants to be the best, even if he's playing checkers," said the agent.

Haaland is currently sidelined due to a torn muscle fibre.
