Official: Dortmund sack Lucien Favre

Lucien Favre has lost his job as Dortmund coach.
Borussia Dortmund have parted ways with head coach Lucien Favre.

The 63-year-old has been relieved of his duties with immediate effect following yesterday's 1-5 defeat at home to VfB Stuttgart.

Favre's contract was due to expire in the summer.

Edin Terzic, who has worked as an assistant under Favre, will take over on an interim basis for the rest of the season.
