Lewandowski bags brace as Bayern end Wolfsburg's unbeaten run

Bayern München inflicted a first Bundesliga defeat of the season on Wolfsburg.
VfL Wolfsburg's unbeaten streak came to an end as they suffered a 2-1 loss to Bayern München at Allianz Arena on Wednesday.

'Die Wölfe', who were without a loss in the Bundesliga this season before the game, took an early lead when Maximilian Philipp made it 1-0 after five minutes.

But Bayern managed to turn the game around thanks to two goals from Lewandowski, who found the equaliser shortly before the break before giving the hosts the lead in the beginning of the second half.

With the win, Bayern remain second, one point behind Bayer Leverkusen, who thrashed FC Köln 4-0 away from home.
