Report: Hertha to pocket €600,000 for younger Rekik brother

Germany's Bild-Zeitung reports that 19-year-old Hertha defender Omar Rekik is currently on his way to North London to complete a medical.

The Bundesliga club have cleared their youth prospect for departure and will obtain a six-figure transfer fee.
Less than three months after 25-year-old Dutch international Karim Rekik departed Germany's capital city, his younger brother is also set to leave "die alte Dame". Omar Rekik, who made 53 appearances for Hertha's youth program, prepares to join the Arsenal U23s.

The younger Rekik never made his debut for the German club's senior side, but remains a well-regarded prospect for whom Hertha will receive adequate compensation. "Bild" reports that Arsenal will pay a €600,000 transfer fee.
