Union linked with January swoop for Danish forward Kasper Junker

Danish striker Kasper Junker has reportedly been targeted by Union Berlin, who are looking to bring in a new striker in January.
Union Berlin are being linked with a January swoop for 26-year-old Danish striker Kasper Junker, who plays for Norwegian champions FK Bodø/Glimt.

With forward trio Max Kruse, Anthony Ujah and Bayer Leverkusen loanee Joel Pohjanpalo all currently sidelined, Junker has been targeted by 'Die Eisernen', according to Bild and Fussballtransfers.

Union Berlin managing director Oliver Ruhnert recently admitted that the club could use another striker, telling Sky:

"We are trying to find a solution as quickly as possible."

Besides Junker, who found the net 27 times in 25 games in 2020, Club Brugge's Michael Krmencik is also seen as an option, as per Fussballtransfers.
