Gladbach coach Marco Rose provides squad update ahead of Bayern clash

Marco Rose has revealed Gladbach will be without Valentino Lazaro for their clash with Bayern München, which could see Alassane Pléa come back into the starting eleven.
Borussia Möncengladbach coach Marco Rose has given an update on his squad ahead of Friday's clash with reigning champions Bayern München.

In addition to the suspended Marcus Thuram, Gladbach will still have to manage without Valentino Lazaro, who picked up an injury while warming up for last week's 1-0 win over Arminia Bielefeld.

Alassane Pléa is an option for the starting eleven after coming on against Bielefeld, but Ramy Bensebaini isn't quite ready to play 90 minutes yet after making his return from injury last week.

"Valentino Lazaro is suffering from an injury and will be out for the foreseeable future. Alassane Plea is a candidate to start once again. Ramy Bensebaini will definitely not play the full 90 minutes," said Rose at the pre-match press conference.

Gladbach are seventh in the table, 12 points behind Bayern, who are top of the Bundesliga.
