In this Fantasy Bundesliga article, we will not be focusing on the most obvious picks such as Robert Lewandowski or Erling Haaland.

Instead, we will highlight players with an ownership percentage below 15%, who could offer great value as differentials for Matchday 17.

Erik Durm, Frankfurt (Defender, 3.6m)
The former Dortmund full-back costs just 3.6 million and remains an attractive pick after picking up a total of 32 points in his last two games.

Borna Sosa, Stuttgart (Defender, 4.7m)
Like Durm, Sosa offers great value for money. The 22-year-old has racked up 23 points in his last two appearances as Stuttgart prepare to face 15th-placed Arminia Bielefeld, who have scored just 10 goals in 16 games this season.

Maximilian Mittelstädt, Hertha BSC (Defender, 8.3m)
Mittelstädt has been a reliable source of points in recent games. With Marvin Plattenhardt still sidelined with an injury, he looks set to start once more against a Hoffenheim side, who are still without a win in 2021.

Tanguy Coulibaly, Stuttgart (Midfielder, 1.1m)
The Frenchman is expected to come into the line-up to fill in for the suspended Silas Wamangituka at the right wing-back position and offers great bang for your buck with a price of just 1.1 million.

Marius Wolf, FC Köln (Midfielder, 4.5m)
Having been used in a more attacking position in recent weeks, Wolf could be the man to put an end to Köln's barren run in front of goal against a Schalke side, who have conceded 42 times in 16 games this season.

Yannick Gerhardt, Wolfsburg (Midfielder, 6.5m)
Gerhardt will be looking to build on his performance against RB Leipzig last week that saw him notch up two assists.

Jonas Hofmann, Gladbach (Midfielder, 13.2m)
After an excellent start to 2021, Hofmann picked up just one point against Stuttgart on Matchday 16, much to the frustration of many Fantasy Bundesliga managers. With a home game against Bremen coming up, the 28-year-old has a good chance of bouncing back.

Matthew Hoppe, Schalke 04 (Striker, 1.6m)
After scoring four goals in his last two games, the 19-year-old striker will be hoping to continue his excellent run against an out-of-form Köln side.

Sasa Kalajdzic, Stuttgart (Striker, 4.9m)
With Nicolas Gonzalez out due to suspension, Kalajdzic should lead the line for Stuttgart against Bielefeld. Having already found the net five times in the Bundesliga this season, the Austrian striker has proved that he knows where the goal is.

Wout Weghorst, Wolfsburg (Striker, 17.6m)
Despite being the fourth-highest scoring striker on the game this season, Weghorst is owned by just 4% of Fantasy Bundesliga managers. With Wolfsburg taking on crisis-hit Mainz this time around, the Dutchman could be a real difference-maker.
