Karlsruher SC confirm loan of Xavier Amaechi from Hamburger SV
The Arsenal youth product looks for more minutes under his belt in Baden after failing to make a mark in Hamburg.
Karlsruher SC have confirmed the signing of Hamburger SV’s Xavier Amaechi on a loan transfer until the end of the current Bundesliga season. The English winger is a product of the Arsenal youth academy and made a move to Hamburg in the summer of 2019.
He has not been able to secure enough playing minutes at the North-German club, making only three first team apperances until date. The Bath-born winger said: "I'm happy to be here in Karlsruhe now and want to play football here week after week."

Mario Djuricin’s departure from the club prompted the 2. Bundesliga side to search for an alternative in attack. 28-year-old Djuricin asked the club to terminate his contract, with the Austrian set to return to his home country.
On Xavier’s transfer, KSC’s Sporting Director, Oliver Kreuzer said: “With Xavier we now have a talented and flexible offensive player. He is a young, fast-paced and allows us more versatility for the rest of the season."
