Official: Hoffenheim send Bruun Larsen out on loan

Jacob Bruun Larsen has left Hoffenheim to join Anderlecht on loan.
Hoffenheim have sent Danish winger Jacob Bruun Larsen out on loan to Anderlecht until the end of the season.

"We decided to allow Jacob to take this step after a joint analysis of the situation," said Hoffenheim director of football Alexander Rosen.

The Danish winger has been limited to just three appearances this season and hasn't featured since he was infected with the coronavirus in November.

"Primarily due to injury and illness, things have not gone as he and we had imagined for him in recent months," said Rosen.

Hoffenheim paid €9 million to sign the 22-year-old from Borussia Dortmund a year ago.
