Report: Leipzig target loan for Hee-Chan Hwang, one source reports contact from Mainz

Bundesliga clubs in search of additional attacking assistance reportedly cue up to secure the services of Leipzig's Hee-Chan Hwang. 
RB Leipzig are thought to be seeking a loan destination for summer transfer Hee-Chan Hwang. The South Korean international has been unable to break into the squad after struggling with prolonged side effects resulting from a COVID-infection incurred on international duty.

German footballing magazine Kicker reports that the club wishes to loan the 24-year-old to a club where he get attain more regular playing time and possibly get back on track. No specific clubs are mentioned in the Kicker report. Instead, it is simply stated that "several German and international clubs" are interested.

An article appearing in the "Leipziger Volkszeitung" suggests that FSV Mainz 05 hav expressed interest, though this might simply be idle speculation related to the sensational departure of Jean-Philippe Mateta last week.
